    Email Marketing Specialist

     

    JOB OVERVIEW

     

    With a direct report to the CRM Manager, the Email Marketing Specialist will coordinate and execute email marketing campaigns for the Club Med North America Business Unit (USA/Canada), in support of the company’s strategic goals and revenue targets.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Work with strategic and creative teams to deliver on the email marketing calendar
      • Operate the CRM tools (Neolane/IBM Watson/ MailJet)
      • Targeting, content creation, and delivery of all marketing emails to customers and travel agents
      • Management of all ongoing lifecycle and automated email campaigns
      • QA of all versions of each email campaign, including testing renderings
      • Coordinating with different channel owners to ensure consistent messaging across multiple platforms
      •  
    • Optimize email KPIs
      • Monitor global sending & deliverability process via campaign management tools
      • Produce Weekly, monthly and quarterly KPI reporting for eCRM
      • Monitor campaign efficiency and recommend optimizations to achieve objectives
      • Launch AB Testing campaigns to optimize opening and click rates

     

    • Best practice sharing
      • Track email best practices, monitor industry trends, and make recommendations.
      • Contribute to quarterly corporate meetings - present / report BU eCRM campaign best practices

    Requirements

    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

     

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
    • 2+ years’ experience in Email Marketing, preferably in the tourism industry (cruise lines, leading resort or hotel brand)

     

    Skills/competencies

    • Experience using mass email marketing tools (IBM Watson Preferred)
    • Email Marketing - experience creating communication plans, responsive designs, segmentation & targeting, personalization, campaign configuration, deployment, reporting and analysis
    • Basic proficiency with HTML and CSS, experience using WYSIWYG email editor
    • Strong analytical skills with a bias towards understanding customer behavior and lifecycle
    • Graphic design and layout skills
    • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, & PowerPoint

    • English fluency required
