    Why

    Support managing one or more purchasing construction project categories FF&E such as lighting, furniture, accessories, decoration textile etc

    Contribute in improving the Club Med purchasing efficiency. 

    Supports other buyers work on different purchasing categories including: Operating supplies, consumables, equipment & maintenance components.

    Support the projects Logistics services including Import & export.

    Provide internal customers of the AMN BU projects with goods and services need it, with the best quality, prices, cost and delivery conditions.

     

    Responsibilities

    Coordinated the purchasing request from the Construction project on the BU’s

    Supervise the Purchase flow orders for projects in Miami

    Support Purchasing construction and operation and product services departments with information to decide on the purchase of categories in reference with the construction projects.

    Coordination with other BU’s to identify and achieve purchasing and logistics synergies.

    Manage the relationship with project suppliers and logistic partners.

    Be involved on the committees and work groups in the office to support the construction projects of the BU.

    Periodically inform the management on purchasing actions in progress elaborating status reports.

    Hierarchical: Purchasing Director AMN.

    Quality and consistency on the follow-up of the implemented purchasing process.

    Implementation and respect of processes, methods, tools,

    Contribute to the definition and deployment of Club Med purchasing strategy and ensure consistency between local purchasing and Club Med global goals.

    Ability to answer needs with a high level of quality cost and in time

    Efficiency of deliverables on different purchasing construction projects categories.

    Requirements

    Main internal interactions

    Construction project managers, AMN operations and services clients, Purchasing Director, AMN Buyers, Cost Controller, accounting.

    Purchasing economic performance supporting the development projects

    Background and professional skills

    Relevant experience in purchasing (5 years minimum in purchasing and Logistics)

    Job expertise in purchasing & logistics: Market & logistics conditions, negotiations, knowledge of project components such FF&E, OS&E, Constructions and operations  materials. 

    Education: bachelor of Business Administration or/and advanced education in purchasing (e.g. Institute for Purchasing Management certification) Optional: experience in Hospitality contract services.

    Personal skills

    Written & oral communication capacities, Business attitude with high level interlocutors, Ability to work in a multi-national environment

    Geographic mobility on the AMN
