  • Mission

    • Ensure groups and guests are welcomed in the resort and provide information about the venue options
    • Follow up on group programs and adherence to contract
    • Main point of contact with client company
    • Assist in event organization prior and day of the event
    • Coordinate with kitchen and A/V teams for set up and direction when needed
    • Update information sheets with all available services as needed
    • Track and update reservation charts and occupancy
    • Track invoice files in progress and send reminders for new invoices
    • Identify external service providers when needed (e.g. restaurants, equipment rental agencies for conference rooms etc)
    • Coordinate services with other departments and ensure staff is aware of programs
    • Ensure events are going according to plan and handle any inconsistencies

    Requirements

    • 2+ years’ experience in hotel sales and event planning
    • Degree in hospitality management and/or event planning preferred
    • Strong listening and communication skills in order to properly understand what clients’ needs are
    • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle stressful situations
    • Service-oriented and strong sales skills
    • Other spoken languages a plus
    • Must be available for interviews in Orlando on September 23rd
