    Social Media Intern Responsibilities


    Dynamic intern with strong social media and communication skills wanted for position with premium global brand.  


    Expected to have experience with social media on a personal level, willing to write and engage as a brand advocate.


    Able to communicate and write for social media channels including: Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram. Knowledge of social media backend tools and  insights.   


    A mix of creativity, a customer service mind set, and attention to details are important for success in this position. It is important to keep up with trending news in the Social Media and PR world.


    Social Media responsibilities include:

    • Working with Social Media agency to align with brand messaging as well as managing daily content & monitoring of various social channels
    • Promoting the brand across Social Media platforms and supporting current marketing initiatives
    • Work on Social Media campaigns from a corporate level and within individual resorts
    • Liaising with resort Content Managers & global Corporate Offices to aid in content creation
    • Create content briefs to be executed in resort by resort Content Managers
    • Weekly reporting & analysis
    • Competitive review
    • Review and edit biweekly social media content calendar
    • Best practices analysis of other brands
    • Maintain and update online calendar listings
    • Brainstorm new programs, event series, and on-site experiential enhancements


    Public Relations responsibilities include:

    • Assisting PR Manager in daily operations
    • Reviewing press releases and pitches
    • Writing key brand messages to be shared with media
    • Assisting with vetting & organizing group press trips and individual media/influencer stays
    • Organizing media coverage and presenting internally each week
    • Coordinating partnerships and promotions
    • Communicating with international resorts & corporate offices to obtain information and organize media events
    • Building media lists
    • Weekly media research and filing
    • Responding to incoming media inquiries



    • Recent graduate from Marketing/PR/Communications program
    • Ability to multi-task and provide recommendations to the marketing team
    • Innovative and proactive individual
    • Must be available for the full 6 months of paid internship
